SALTA & QUEBRADA DE HUMAHUACA

Salta - Day 1

Reception and transportation from the airport to the hotel.
In the afternoon, city tour around Salta.

Salta - Ruinas de Quilmes -Day 2

Departure towards Cafayate.  
You will go up the Cuesta del Obispo (Bishop Slope), visit the Los Cardones National Park, Cahi and continue along the Calchaquíes Valleys up to Ruinas de Quilmes.

Ruinas de Quilmes - Cafayate  - Salta - Day 3

In the morning, visit to the Ruinas de Quilmes. Then tranfer to Cafayate to visit the vineyards.
In the afternoon, transfer to Salta and we will go through the Quebrada de Las Conchas visiting its natural shapes such as the Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat), the Anfiteatro (Amphitheater), or the Fraile (Priest), among others.

Salta - Purmamarca -Day 4

Departure from Salta, through the Quebrada del Toro, we will get to Santa Rosa de Tastil, then we will continue to San Antonio de los Cobres. Then we will take the National Route Nª40 to get to Salinas Grandes in the province of Jujuy where we will visit the salt flat. After this we will go down through the Cuesta del Lipán till we reach Purmamarca.

Purmamarca -Day 5

We will visit the town of Maimará to continue to Tilcara where we will visit the Pucará de Tilcará Ruins. Then we will continue to the tows of Huacalera, Uquía and Humahuaca, after this we return to Purmamarca.

Purmamarca - La Quiaca - Yavi  - Day 6

Departure to La Quiaca, border town with Bolivia located at 3.450 meters, going through Tres Cruces (3.770 meters) and Abrapampa. Then we will continue to Yavi.

Yavi - Salta -Day 7

Trip back to Salta through the cornice road., visiting Laguna de Pozuelos, National Park declared Natural Heritage Site, that hosts different species of flamingos located at 4.320 meters.

Salta -Day 8

Transportation to the Salta airport.
